is a Camera Club which aims to offer members a friendly environment in which they can
share and enjoy photography.
The Club meets weekly on Monday evenings from 7pm to 9pm in the Jubilee Room,
Lazonby Village Hall, Lazonby. CA10 1AQ, from September to the end of April each year.
During the summer months there is a regular programme of outdoor sessions - both
daytime and evenings.

Xmas Competition - Open Theme:
The Club held its Xmas Competition in December 2021.
The theme was open with up to 3 images taken within the last 2 years submitted by
members. Cumbrian landscape photographer, Chris Sale, judged and offered feedback to
the entries, with an approach that ‘focussed on the positive’.

Programme- February 2022:
Please bring masks as some presenters may wish us to wear them. Social distancing will be
in place.
Monday 14th February: ‘Speed and Motion’: with Paul Dunmall
Sport and techniques used to get the images and how these can be used in other areas of
photography.
Monday 21st February: ‘Review of Katie’s Challenge to photograph a ‘dinner fork’ and
‘Future Plans for the Fellfoot Project’ with Simon Whalley.
Simon will bring the final video and prints from the first stage of the project and discuss
with us how the Club would like to take the project forward for the next 2 years.
Monday 28th February: ‘Time and the Landscape’ with Mark Gilligan and Vicki Proctor.
Mark ‘s latest talk is based on the Slate Quarries at Dinorwic in Snowdonia- a passion of
his. They will present a historical talk with photographs.
